The original photo( This one is cutter. )
Second, the reason why I drew this picture was the amazing sunshine when I went to water flowers one day. In fact, I had a bad mood when my father told me to water flowers in a sunny and hot day. However, after I saw the beautiful sunshine and the green plants full of life, I was not annoyed anymore. The fresh air and green plants made me relaxed. The experience help me realize that keep calm, and you can find something special.
The picture below was drew according to the photo I took in Asakusa(淺草), Japan. The owner of the stand was so focused on his work, and the positive and hard-working attitude of Japanese was good to follow. I hope I can follow the attitude to face anything in the future.
The last one I wanted to share is my favorite one and also the one won the No. 1 in Taiwan 3 years ago. I often read some report said that some models hoped they could get thinner, and they forced themselves to reduce their appetites. Moreover, they would get anorexia if they kept the bad habit of eating. I don't think it is really beautiful. It is a morbid state and the skinny models look unnatural. I want to tell people it was sick, and I hope the phenomenon will not continue.

Dear Kathy,
ReplyDeleteOh my! You are really good at drawing~ I was so amazed at the beautiful artworks you show above. I like the sketch of your cute nephew! It's so vivid, like a photo in black and white. I also love the one that you won NO.1 in Taiwan. The moral behind the painting is quite good. It makes whoever look at it to think further about the unhealthy phenomenon. I really admire that you have such talent in art~ Looking forward to see more about your works next time^^
Hello, I'm ginger:) How amazing your pictures are! Your painting skill makes those pictures more animated and vivid. I like your third picture, because of not only your stunning drawing, but also the metaphor of the painting. I cannot agree you ant more that our society prefers skinny figure, and the phenomenon should be corrected.Hope your No.1 work can give people some inspirations. I cannot wait to enjoy your lovely works next week!
ReplyDeleteHey Kathy :)
ReplyDeleteI do not know that you have such a wonderful talent in drawing. I think that no one would deny that pictures above are all masterpieces, and I love them all. I love the third picture best because of Japanese’s hard working attitude toward life. I have been to Japan twice and the thing I appreciate them most is that they all concentrate on what they are doing at the moment. I wanted to be the person like them when I was a little girl. But when times passed, the ambition disappeared. I really thank you for recalling me the desire I have had. I think I would try hard again to become the person I always want to be. Thank you.
Dear Kathy,
ReplyDeleteYour paintings are so amazing that I even thought they were real pictures until I saw the real ones below them. Moreover, I thought that your paintings are not only beautiful but quite meaningful though on some of your paintings are just normal objects in our daily life. In addition, I agree with you about your views on those skinny models who see thinness as their most significant thing in their lives. I think it supposed to be the healthier, the more beautiful!
